Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana on April 15,1976. Monroe Christian School was her private Christian primary school. Ward went to Ouachita high school in the parish to complete her secondary schooling. She then moved to River Oaks High School the summer after her junior year. She was a student at Northeast Louisiana University briefly after graduation. Ward dropped out at 13 and moved into New York so that she could start modeling. She attempted acting several years later. Her first role was an uncredited character in 1970's soap drama All My Children, and then was cast as an teen drama for NBC Prime-Time Malibu Shores. In the year 1996, Ward was cast as Meg Cummings on Sunset Beach. In 1999, her career in film began by playing Brittany Foster (the psychotic Brittany Foster) in the thriller erotica The In Crowd.
